What this is
Moderating panels and fireside conversations, and hosting a company event from the first welcome to the last thank you. Internal town halls and kickoffs, customer and partner events, and conference stages.
What usually brings people here
A panel with four good people on it that has turned into four monologues at every previous event. An internal event where the leadership team needs someone in front of the room who is not their boss. Or a programme where someone has to hold the day together and keep it to time.
What I do
I read the audience before the room, agree with each speaker what they are there to say, and prepare the second question rather than the first. On the day I keep it moving, protect the quiet panellist, and cut the answer that has finished. For a whole event I hold the thread between sessions so the day adds up to something.
How it runs
A briefing call with the organiser, short calls with the panellists where it matters, then the event. Danish or English, and I can switch mid session if the room is mixed.
